I'm not usually fond of American adaptations or remakes of films, but I think I may make an exception with David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, to be released in December this year.
From that trailer it looks too visually similar to the Swedish films. I'm still going to see it with an open mind but that trailer looked like someone just got clips from the Swedish films and edited them together.
